To help us continue our trajectory of yearly record turnovers and award wins, we’re looking for a friendly, proactive account director with agency experience and a track record of growing client accounts.

You’ll get a kick out of continually wowing clients with clear and candid communication that helps them smash their goals — and that helps our creative team deliver knock-out, award-winning work. 

As a straight-talking sort, you’ll believe that it’s not about telling clients what they want to hear, it’s about telling them what they need to hear to make their brands work beautifully.


  • At least 5 years’ account management/client services experience within a marketing capacity.
  • Knowledge of MS packages and the Google suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets).
  • Excellent time management, organisational and communication skills.
  • A mindset based around continuous development and professional growth.


Build long-term client relationships. You know that people buy from people, so being approachable, responsive, and empathetic of our clients’ situations is vital in building the best long-term partnerships.

Be the client’s voice in the agency, and the agency’s voice to the client. From first brief to final rollout, you’ll be the heart of the agency-client relationship. As a representative of Woven and the client, you’ll make things happen and keep people happy across the board.

Make sure projects are on time, on budget, and out-of-sight amazing. You’ll use your past experience, positive outlook, and personable approach to make sure we do the best work on time and to budget.

Predict the future. Kind of. Through accurate, timely management of client forecasting and finances, you’ll always have foresight of what’s coming down the line. You’ll create project timelines, track constantly against them, and raise any issues as quickly as possible.

Be anything but brief with the brief. What you put into a brief is what you get back from the work. You’ll invest time with subject matter experts across the business, stress-testing the brief to make sure we’re meeting our clients’ challenges in the best possible way.

Challenge when needed. You’re not a yes-person. Whether it’s to us internally or to the client, it’s okay to say no, to push back on tight deadlines, and to explain when something can’t – or shouldn’t – be done. We just ask you to do so with professionalism, empathy, and integrity.


You’ll be a great listener. Good account directors are good communicators. Great account directors are great listeners. You’ll definitely have your own opinions, but you’ll understand that listening is every bit as important as talking. If not more so.

You’ll be confident – and inspire confidence. A super-organised and self-assured account director not only helps deliver the best work, they inspire true confidence in our team and our clients.
