Earlier this month, our Managing Director, Mark Bower, jetted off to HubSpot’s home city of Boston to take part in Inbound 2019.

Mark will be writing about his experience in an upcoming blog, but in the meantime, we wanted to give you a quick download about the updates HubSpot announced during the conference.

What is Inbound 2019?

Every year, thousands of people from all industries and all corners of the globe flock to take part in HubSpot’s Inbound conference.

There, they take in keynote speeches from some of the world’s most inspiring business speakers and transformational thinkers. They join training and breakout sessions to share their inbound marketing experiences and learn how best to move their business forward. And they also learn about HubSpot’s new updates it will be rolling out over the coming weeks and months.

And thanks to our intrepid MD, Mark, we’ve got the inside track on some of the key features HubSpot will soon be implementing.

HubSpot’s new features

To improve its platform, HubSpot regularly listens to customer feedback and transforms these insights into more efficient and ergonomic software. At this year’s Inbound conference, they announced a series of feedback-inspired improvements and new features to help make people’s jobs that little bit easier. Kind souls that we are, we’ve outlined the pick of the bunch below.

The HubSpot App Marketplace

In order to connect business’ tools, teams, processes and data through a single system, HubSpot has more than doubled its app integrations. Through HubSpot’s App Marketplace, your team can now seamlessly integrate programmes like Slack, Zero and WordPress.

HubSpot has also redesigned its app listing pages, so you can quickly see the essential information you need when considering which apps to download, such as pricing, subscription requirements and video demos.

Advocacy automation
HubSpot is all about making your marketing easier, helping you not just to acquire new customers, but to keep your existing ones extremely happy. After all, happy clients leave positive reviews, refer their friends and keep coming back to you as repeat buyers.

It’s in this spirit that HubSpot has launched advocacy automation. As the name suggests, this new feature helps make advocates of your clients through automated outreach. The purpose? To use this automation to power your customer testimonial and case study efforts, as well as gain new insights through improved feedback reporting.

Advocacy automation and improved feedback reporting are now live in Service Hub Professional and Enterprise.

Landing pages
HubSpot is bringing the easy functionality of its email editor to its landing page builder. Their drag-and-drop feature now makes it even easier to build beautiful landing pages in double-quick time.

This will be available to all users by November, including Marketing Hub Starter users.

Social post boosting
Got a killer post that deserves to be seen by a wider audience? Then boosting its reach by turning it into a paid ad is a great way to get the message out there.

To make it easier for you to advertise your social posts in one platform – and get the audience your great content deserves – HubSpot is adding Facebook post-boosting into its social tool.

This feature is currently in beta and will soon be available for Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise customers.

Native ad creation
When creating social adverts in HubSpot, all your campaign assets can now be found in one place. Creating ads through HubSpot is simple because the process mimics the HubSpot creation flow with which users are already familiar.

When creating your ad, you can start to automate next steps by adding newly converted contacts to HubSpot lists or setting up an automated workflow.

Native ad creation is now live for Facebook lead ads and will soon be available for LinkedIn.

HubSpot users often have two complaints when it comes to their workflows: that their workflow list gets messy as it grows and that branching workflows become unwieldy as they add more branches. HubSpot is now working to solve both of these issues.

To stay organised, you’ll soon be able to create folders in which to store workflows.

Whilst to help keep those workflows manageable and efficient, you’ll be able to create a go-to action that reconnects branches in the workflow.

These are just a few of the improved ways in which HubSpot can help manage and grow your business. For more detail, watch HubSpot’s product spotlight video.
